Line Leader – MA

Oversee Production Line operations at the Company’s Ludlow facility. Leads and directs all Line personnel.  Troubleshoots, repairs and adjusts discrepancies on Line.  Assumes responsibility for all safety, health, and environmental issues concerning Line operations.  Oversees quality control of manufactured products for assigned Line. 


  • Leads personnel in the packaging operations, ensuring all machinery is maintained and workers are properly trained per standard procedures.
  • Inspects all company products to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Suggests changes in working methods and use of equipment to increase the department’s efficiency.
  • Notifies Production Supervisor of any manufacturing problems, as well as analyzing and resolving work problems, or assisting workers in solving problems in a helpful and timely manner.
  • Maintains records of shift performance, equipment output and weekly production data.
  • Maintains and enforces all safety rules and regulations, and maintains good housekeeping in all related areas.

Directly supervises all Line personnel for assigned Line.

Position type and expected work hours:
This is a Full Time Position, 40 hours per week. Days and hours are Monday through Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Overtime will be required with production demands.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in automated filling.
  • Valid Driver’s License

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and policy and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Good problem solving skills, including comparing alternatives leading to sound decisions.  Good organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize efficiently.
